What is Reaction Mode?

Reaction mode is designed to measure the time it takes for an athlete to move a an Audio/Visual stimulus.

In the case of a simple sprint, with reaction mode enabled, the SYNCRO App will deliver

  • The time from Audio Visual Stimulus to athlete leaving the sensor

  • The first split time will be delivered separately as the time from the athlete leaving until they reach the target gate.

  • If you are using a MOVE sensor the times are measured between the events described above, but because these events are generated in reference to first movement the results will be different.
